mattsccm
I have a couple of big old spring rifles that need scoping. HW80 and a Diana . I have a few scopes in the box so which would people chose? A couple of Pecars with steel bodies, an oldish Pre 1995 when I bought it second handSterling (no Nikko label) or a modern ish Stirling variable mag. All would do the job for shortish range squirrel bashing but wondering what other might do. Edited May 8 by mattsccm
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
No idea but as you allready have those scopes why not just try them one a time for a simple plinking session. No need to zero, just see if the scopes suit & pellets group well enough. Once you have tried all if you still can't decide flip a coin or go for some retail therapy as its called. oldypigeonpopper
Hello, are they suitable for springers?? You could buy 2 Hawke scopes for about £60 each with mounts,3x9x40 is more than adequate for squirrels,
Chaz25
not sure chap need a bit more info! Myself I have,a 3-9x32 on one and I think a fixed mag 4x40 wide vision on the other
old man
IMO springers need a glass etched reticle for longevity?
Weihrauch17
Pecar's won't be suitable, they are CF scopes.
