Triumph Herald or Fairthorpe wiring loom - now sorted.

A good mate is building a Fairthorpe Electron kit car. It was, at one time, road registered and running. He bought it as a body, chassis and boxes of bits.

Engine (new big ends, mains and rings), gearbox, new clutch / release bearing, most of the brakes and suspension - all done. Brake pipes will be made this week, but he is lacking a wiring loom.

A long shot, but if anyone has a Herald wiring loom stuck in their garage, he is in the market for one.

Long shot but also Baxenden car breakers in Accrington had a classic section they were breaking might turn something up

They stopped making the Herald in...1971.  So the youngest wiring loom is now 50yrs old, I would not be reusing that.  The 'green creep of death' will mean you're forever chasing faults

If it's a kit car/bitsa, personally I'd just use a universal kit loom and shorten the wires as necessary.  Will probably be quickest way to get a running car.
