We don't know "for a fact" that he is indeed dead.  So far all we know is that a plane with his name on the passenger list experienced some kind of fatal explosion in flight.

Putin is a gangster, nothing more nor less. 
Get rid of opposition permanently and deny everything. Everyone knows what he’s doing, and he knows they know; he just doesn’t care. It’s not like anyone’s going to stop him is it.
