enfieldspares
Penetrating and easing oil sprayed into it and allow to soak in is the first step. If that doesn't work a stick of hardwood to try to tap it free.
London Best
And then probably clean it more often.
Gunman
Please define " stuck out " . Fully extended and wont go down .Or .Wont seat correctly . Was it OK prior to you removing barrels ? Is the forend in the open forward position as when removing barrels ,or locked position ? Have you removed the forend from the barrel ? Have the ejector tripped ?
Gordon R
Gunman - I have to say I enjoy your posts. I have built kit cars, motocross bikes from scratch and can turn my hand to most things, but I read your posts with appreciation. You know your stuff. Bit like Team Tractor, demonwolf444 and barrel browner, people at the top of their game.

Since retirement my interest has waned somewhat, but any advice I can pass on I will do so .

I must admit to having picked Gunman`s brains recently and received a prompt and detailed reply to my query, for which I would like to thank him again. It`s such a privilege to receive advice from someone who clearly has practical knowledge of all things shotgun related and is more than willing to pass on details of his experience.
