Rizzini has a rattle

Recommended Posts

Not something that overly bothers me, but more something I perhaps didn't expect in a £6k gun. Just wondering if it’s normal for a rizzini (based on round body action) to have a rattle if moved backwards and forwards when shut (doesn’t do it when open)?

cheers

A free firing pin moving perhaps?
See if it still does it after fired cartridges in the breech.

Just had a good play and realised it comes from the cocking bars that run along the bottom of the action to the forend and connect to the ejector trips in the barrel monoblock.

seems like it should probably be a fairly normal rattle then?

Is it in the barrels , the action or the stock ?

Just found it’s the cocking/ejection bar in the bottom of the action.
