Just bought new for ratting in barn.,

Instruction leaflet basic and does not cover refill. Gun has about 180 showing. max is 232. Have tried to refill and probe goes in but blows air when tank opened.

Have tried 2nd probe and same occurs. Have tried cocked and uncocked.

Am i missing something.? advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve.

blows air from where?

is it from the bleed valve on the tank you're filling it from (this should be screwed shut when filling )or from the actual probe🤔

Probe needs quite a firm push to seat home in my experience. Also check o rings aren’t nicked or damaged at all.

Thanks, new probe and 2nd one bought today just in case and spare o rings avail.

Might have to give it a harder push.

From the probe inside filling port , which is set quite deep in the stock. Tank good.

Hello, Have you tried a search on the Net, you may find info on a USA air rifle forum

Gone for the nuclear option, - got a mate coming round to have a look who knows more about these things ?? what could possibly go wrong.

Alternatively revert to rimmie, should be fun in a concrete barn !
