Scam calls

Just watching Simon6ppc's latest video when I get another b.....y scam phone call, obviously I didn't answer it, checked it on line and reported it straight away.

It's been quite for the last few months but now  looks like it's starting again, for every ones information today's scam number was +447701401216, some previous numbers to be aware of are+44800640558, +33629573781, +447841634945.

I have also received phishing emails and texts, one from vsjay.maqbp.com saying something about a courier, one from https://revolutlogin.app regarding a payment of31450 to a Mohammed Ali, the latest email only last week was from Mrs Donna Brown in the USA who tells me she is dying from cancer and if the operation being performed by Dr Kelvin does not go well she has chosen me along with her solicitor Mussa Mahammed to deal with her $7000000 estate., I think she or it blessed me for being a caring person.

Obviously these have all been reported, but they are so b....y annoying.

I would think that just about anyone with a mobile phone, land line or email address as received something like this, just ignore and delete, simple.

I have had one telling me my PC camera as been hacked and they have a video of me pleasuring myself and will send it to all my contacts, I’ve been waiting for the video to appear in my inbox but nothing yet.

I reckon I'm savvy enough to recognise these scams but there are people out there that sucked in.

i just go with the flow accident one Oh yes it was a bad accident my reg first one i see in the street how bad where my injuries Oh i died  then they hang up 

Other one they want you to buy something Oh yes wait till i get my credit card 5 minutes later its no in my wallet let me check my car 10 minutes later it wasnt there let me have another look my record is keeping them hanging on 25 minutes before they hang up 

I never get these calls now but my wife never answers them gets 2/3 a day

HMRC rang me today from a mobile number to tell me I will be going to jail if I don't pay them the VAT I owe them immediately.

I had a scam call two years ago, after that I kept getting calls from random people to say I had called them, but it wasn't from my phone but my number was being displayed. Had a few irate callers that wouldn't belive that I had not called them and I didn't even know who they were. Got in touch with my provider who told me they couldn't do anything as it was from overseas and it would last about two weeks until they got bored and used another number. It did stop and luckily no such problem.

I had a mobile on tother day.  Came from one of my sons and said all was ok but he needed to give me his new iphone number and asked that I text him back so he knows I got the message ok.  I was lucky as I was unable to send a text at that time.  I asked my missus if she had got the same message and she said no! That would have been odd as he always phones both of us with something like that.  She sussed it as a scam so i did nothing with it. Speaking to my son later he said block tht number it is just a scam.
