Hi gang.

I'm thinking of changing my Android phone. The Samsung Galaxy is £180 in Tesco's but £100 on Amazon so i assume it's a refurbished one.

What are your views on refurbished stuff ?.

                                                                                Thanks all.

I have an Apple I phone I got from EBay was cheaper than new and has worked fine nearly 3 years. Only negative is the battery was at 87% capacity, and now down to 79%, Refurbishment often leaves the original battery I think.

I've had a refurbished mobile phone from Amazon and could not find anything wrong with it. No marks or scratches.

I bought a refurbished and "tested" iphone from a seller on ebay, took care to find one that offered a long guarantee, had lots of sales and good feedback.

Phone arrived and the battery wouldn't hold any charge, went straight back, they offered to exchange it but I just took a refund.

I've also heard stories about refurbished phones containing spyware, no idea how likely that is.

Refurbished phones are normally good you obviously take a chance more than a new one but if you get a guarantee it should be no problem you have to remember there are thousands of reasons they are refurbed it’s not often there was a lot wrong with them in the first place or simply trade ins or send outs and people don’t want them and they go back
