T C was asking how you got out of the bin , easy , the reverse way you went in and no doubt you have got out of many tight situations in the past . TIGHTCHOKE
Jim Moir is a lovely chap, Vic Reeves was a creation of his and was extremely funny. Ditchman is apparently still miffed about falling in the bin.

marsh man
46 minutes ago, ditchman said: Andrews liver salts........its the reason why i hate olives.......... You must remember the ole Beecham Powders , these were a national cure for just about everything , the little shop on the island sold them in ones as nobody over there could afford a box , I used to go and get my ole chap , one Beecham Powder , one 7 o clock razor blade and a packet of Green cigarette papers , they were all 3d each so he got 3d change out of a shilling which was then enough for a Eastern Evening News . ( that came out just after dinner )

marsh man
9 minutes ago, TIGHTCHOKE said: And the next topic is how dangerous are wheelie bins for the elderly? It's not just the elderly who need to be carful , that young lad who went for a night out was last seen near the rubbish bins and they never did find his body , Back to your question T C, would it make any difference if it was a Rubbish , Recycling or Garden waste bin as our eyesight isn't as good as it once was and the E U boat residents in the town don't always follow the rules when putting the right stuff in the bins
TIGHTCHOKE
That is a very good point, people in Stamford now have 4 bloody wheelie bins to find room for. That just means more bins for the elderly to fall in to.

I am not much taller than the bin, so how am I going to fall in , I did once do a load of wall papering at home and the ole paper was a few thicknesses , time I took it all off I had a small mountain of bagged up wallpaper , I chucked about a dozen in the Black bin and then got a pair of steps so I could go inside and trample it down , once down I put some more in and done the same , I carried on until I got it all in , those ole bins hold some serious rubbish when put in properly , not sure how many elderly you would get in , I dare say it depends how big they are
