Fil
TVP were 6 months overdue with my shotgun certificate a few years ago. What I didn't notice at the time was they dated the new certificate from the day it ran out rather than the day they printed it effectivley robbing me 6 months worth of "ticket time." When I realised it I was a bit annoyed but never said anything. But I certainly will in the future if they raise the cost of a certificate to silly amount. I will make sure they don't get away with any mistakes if I'm paying them hundreds for the service.

You must consider your shooting to be just a hobby then, not a way of life as it is for some of us.

Good shot?
There is no justification to be forced to pay £500 + whatever the Doctors will eventually want and I find it difficult to understand anyone saying they would willingly pay £500 for a renewal on a shooting forum post bearing in mind one of the reasons for any charge is the concern for public safety. There are many. devices being used to reduce the number of firearms or any other commodity in public ownership, cost to reduce is always a good one to use against " the working (or retired) man". As an aside, I doubt we will be able to pay it at £2 a week.😏 Edited 3 hours ago by Good shot?
scarecrow243
why on earth would you pay more for your certificates when the price was already put up a few years ago supposed to cover the cost of wages and paper work and then what did they do have less staff closed firearm offices so it takes longer to get certificates and up here they are now only available on the phone between 9am and 12 noon
