Beds.Cambs
Hi With the end of game season approaching I'm seeking permissions on private land for any form of licenced out of season pest control: rabbits, pigeons, fox etc I'm a shotgun licence holder, experienced and BASC member woth liability insurance. Anywhere in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire or Norfolk would be great. Thanks

Thanks If I was you I would stick to a 10 mile radius from where you live , you would never be able to look after a field of rape that might be a 100 miles plus away from where you are based , be a bit more realistic in your search for some shooting , start from the farm nearest to you and then search outwards , that will keep you busy for a while without looking at four counties . Rim Fire Posted Monday at 07:37 Report Share Posted Monday at 07:37 your best bet is have a drive around and see where landowners are having trouble then ask or just do some door tapping and ask until you have asked you wont know
ehb102 Posted Monday at 09:18 Report Share Posted Monday at 09:18 PX Farms have a paid subscription. You used to get membership as part of the Cambridgeshire Field Sports Association, but I don't know what they are up to these days. The website isn't very out of date so it looks like they may still be going, hurrah! https://cfsa.co.uk/

Yes I find it strange , any genuine person looking for shooting would be pushing and pushing until a door open even if the door only opened a small way with a member offering to take him or her out a couple of times , even a new member joining a wildfowling club would not be allowed on the clubs marshes by themselves without going out with long term members to keep an eye on them for several times , in our club it is six times , or it was , might even be more now, by applying on here and stating they are s g c holders and have B A S C insurance don't honestly mean a thing , if I let anyone roam around my marshes I rent I would want to know a fair bit about them before I gave them the go ahead , one wrong move and what you have worked hard to get over the years could easily be lost overnight by one wrong move . TIGHTCHOKE Posted Monday at 18:57 Report Share Posted Monday at 18:57 Yes indeed and as I have said before, a SHOOTING Forum is the worst place to look for new permissions. We don't give them away.
