After your recent meals it look like more of a starter than the main course , whatever the size it still look very good , the food section at the moment is on overtime , the rest of the forum is still in holiday moodΒ

I had fish tonight with some extras to fill the plate , turned out nice , but I bought a Christmas pudding today so I thought I would have a bit for a change , I still had some cream so I looked on the cooking instructions and it stated two hours to boil or two minutes and ten seconds in the micro wave , can't wait two hours for a bit of Xmas pudding so it went in the micro , what a disaster , it said leave it to stand for two minutes which I did and even at my peak my teeth wouldn't had been good enough to ( chew ) it , you really wanted a kango to break it in to smaller pieces , I will let the birds sort it in the morning , no more Xmas pudding until the next one come around .Β :drinks:

No , mine was from M + S today , we used to buy some lovely ones from Waitrose in the past , can you remember a few years ago when the advertised one with a orange inside , everyone wanted one and they were even on Ebay , anyhow , we used to buy them but never got round to eating them , when I was having a clear out last Easter we had three or four in the cupboard that were well out of date so I broke them up for the birds in my garden, the one tonight would need to go through a concrete crusher , if not the birds are going to have some sore beaks .:good:Β

Yea my chips are getting better , I did try some crinkly cut ones today . although the cooking time don't make a lot of difference , the piece of Cod was very nice and I have got the other bit that came with it for maybe Sunday , believe it or not I have still got two Scotch eggs and a chunk of pie that will do for my dinner tomorrow , I don't envy my poor ole dog going in the water when we do our duck drive but he will no doubt get some of my dinner if they do some soup for the helpersΒ :drinks:

Now about to go , bitterly cold and very still conditions , two flasks are on the go so my ole stents will keep warm , my dog is a bit younger than me so he will be ok with a scotch egg inside himΒ
