hedge Posted Sunday at 20:20 Report Share Posted Sunday at 20:20 I'm hoping the PW massive can help with this. Recently acquired a 20b Hatsan Escort L/H semi-auto. I already have a 12b version. The 20b has a small pin sticking out close to the loading gate. Any idea what it is? My 12b does not have it and I'm not sure if it's a spare firing pin or something else. It sort of works a bit loose over time and I push it back in. Can't see it serves any purpose for the action. Anyone able to ID it for me please. Thanks. ditchman Posted Sunday at 20:45 Report Share Posted Sunday at 20:45 is it a retaining pin that has dropped out of position ?
BobbyH Posted Sunday at 22:44 Report Share Posted Sunday at 22:44 I’m pretty sure it’s a retaining pin for the inside magazine locking bar. Im sure my 12B has one!

bruno22rf Posted yesterday at 05:59 Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:59 If you go on the Hatsan manuals site you can get a schematic/parts list/name - you should be able to identify it from there.

End of the day that bit should not be hanging down, some are held in place internally with clips but I'm guessing it's either the pin for the bolt release or the ejector thingy plate inside. Removing the barrel is easy and you should see whatever pivots on the pin by looking inside?
