He does not do the internet but asked me if there is still a market for them as he is thinking of selling up. For those in the know is there still a demand for such and where is the best place to sell them, he would like to sell them in one lot. Scully
Get a valuation from his local auction house then auction them off I would say.
enfieldspares
Southams IMHO are the best for this as they have a live online sale. So unlike a "sealed bid" buyers are actually seeing what bids others have made so can raise their bids. It's like eBay in that respect. Southams are in Bedford and will be accepting consignments, by appointment, this end of January 2025.
London Best
I think there are a few collectors on this forum who may be able to help. I have quite a few, but mostly for decoration in the “man cave”. That’s the loft in old money. No idea on collector’s values.

Hillfoot
Hi Old'un, If you don't find someone to take the whole collection off him for a decent price; You could consider making up cartridge boards like the ones you used to see at the game fairs etc. They were always sought after and fetched good money. Depending on what's in the collection, you could board them up in categories; "Safari", "British", American, European etc. Would take a bit of work but worth it! Or you could catalogue what's in the collection and other collectors could see what's available. All the best Hillfoot
Stimo22
There is a collectors club Facebook page and a club that has meets around the country. I have a few and the paper case cartridges with shop or gunsmiths names on them are the ones with value. Southams had a box of WW Greener 16bore cartridges that I would have liked , I watched the bidding and pulled out at £80 .
