A rather nice Salad.

After doing a little work and a gentle lunch I came home via Morrisons and their "eat me now or die" shelf.

I took all of the langoustines.

Two and a half minutes in the microwave with butter, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Some nice crusty French stick and hey presto, a cracking, easy, simple salad.

Seem to be a bit of a craze on salads at the moment T C , I don't mind a salad but I like something warm or hot to go with it , your's look very nice and no doubt didn't cost you a fortune , I went to Waitrose this afternoon after going and had a look at the Seals at Horsey , then the rain arrived with a strong wind so it wasn't that pleasant walking along the beach , certainly not the weather for a salad .  MM

£9 was a bit on the heavy side , that would had been more than half what I spent this afternoon , believe it or not you just saved me £6 .6p T C , I was looking at my receipt and I bought four or five cheese and onion toasts that were £6 . 25p each , reduced to 19p and on one of them I was charged the full price , so when I go again I will be £6 odd in pocket before I even buy anything , here yer go T C , no need to go hungry if you know where and when to shop , and as a bonus they give me a free coffee

Well there is £6 of langoustines on that plate.

Still expensive to me when you consider it was reduced in the first place T C , £9 for a tea for one person seem a lot of money , I must had been in the wrong trade, mind you I think bricklayers are fairly well paid nowadays
