gibby
Any thought on the Hatton Vs Maywether?? I'm going to put a score on it, but am not convinced that Maywether is going to do it. His camp has released info that he has an injured hand, and with less fights but more rounds it looks like Hatton might do him over. But Hatton is a close fighting man, if he's allowed to get in close and grapple then he's gonna give one of his devastating blows, if the ref allows him. Anyone else got thoughts? Bazooka Joe
I'm Hatton all the way, you can see by Sky TV that he's got the right frame of mind, & has a positive approach to tomorrow night's fight. He's starting to be a big hit over in the USA, in demand, talk shows & the like, looks like people over there may have doubts about FM. Here's to Hatton kicking FM's BUTT....Big Time.<img> BJ. Dunkield
It is certainly getting plenty of hype. Will it be on 'normal' TV?
Bazooka Joe
Got to book it off Sky Stuart, £15, rip off. Going to the bar to watch it, kill two birds with one stone......Bruppp. BJ.
Guest The Outlaw
I want Ricky hatton to win and dish out some whoop **** on the trappy chappy fromm over the pond. I just hope this injured hand thing isnt a roux to make Hatton think its gonna be easy and walk onto something. Tony
pavman
I really want Hatton to whoop him good,,,,,but My verdict is Hatton will cut around the eyes as he cant resist a tear up and the Yank is cute and will dip his head as Hatton comes in and the fight will be stopped on cuts for a big re match, sorry just looking at the big picture and hope I am wrong

LEFTY478
It's gonna be a good 'un. Hatton has had more fights (43 V's FM's 38) but thanks to his KO rate of 72%, he's actually fought less rounds than FM. A lot has been made of FM's speed and skill - and he's gonna need some to keep out trouble, Hatton packs some punch! "Engineers used alternative data and looked at previous studies to prove that Hatton hit the target with an instantaneous force of 400kg (882lb) - approaching half a US ton." And he broke the equipment used to measure it! >>clicky<< Classic Fighter V's Boxer stuff I reckon. FM will try to do it on points, Hatton's gonna try to break him in half. Expected to start at 04:00am - thank god for sky+. Ricky to win round 10 - fingers crossed.

Ahh, hence the hype. Sky Sports, Sky News - 'do the math' as the yanks say. In that case, I don't realy care who wins
paul65
I care who wins, I'm just not going to pay to see it. I used to be a big fight fan but there were some really dodgy judges decisions that put me off and then I saw the Spencer Oliver fight where he got brain damage and I lost a lot of stomach for it. Something I can't abide though is the way Mayweather always refers to himself in the third person, not 'Me' or 'I' but 'Floyd Mayweather'. I know fighters do it a bit when hyping the fight but I really hate it when they do it all the time.
pavman
Umm lots a small bets going on our man but the big punts (smart money) are on MW I hope they lose the smart money
A123
As much as id love to see Hatton deck Mayweather im just not convinced, theres a really good weigh up of it on the MSN news sports section: http://msnsport.skysports.com/story/0,1952...2949262,00.html

True, but if he's concentrating on his feet, he's not fully concentrating on the fight, let him crack on, Hattons advantage. I used to be a big fight fan but there were some really dodgy judges decisions that put me off I remember well, one that happened all the time was Chris Eubanks, he got beat over, & over again. As soon as his manager got into the ring after the fight, knocking bet Eubanks won the fight. BJ.
Lost Magpie
Well excited for this. Fancied Mayweather at first but Hatton is truly focused and out to win. Come on Ricky
BSA Shaun
I want Hatton to win, but what worries me is how easily he cuts up and the ref calling an end to it early
dustyfox
it hard to decide, I want hatton to beat the yank who thinks he's all it. If I was hatton I would listen to music that gets me moving like the airwolf theme.
russuk
Being a local lad I've shared a few pints with Mr Hatton in the past, and only missed two of his proffesional fights in this country (the flying mobile hasn't reached us up here yet) and he is as nice a guy as the telly box makes out. The complete polar opposite of Mayweather. However Mayweather is an awesome boxer, a complete *****, but an awesome boxer. Hatton is the man stepping up in weight, and even though Mayweather is a small fighter for that weight, he's the one more comfortable at the weight. And, remember when Hatton stepped up last. My heart says Ricky. And I refuse to let my mind have an opinion.

jonno 357
I think we all want to see the Hatton win but has he got it ? Thats the big question. Maybe he has maybe not. Hatton is a nice guy and comes across really well as opposed to a loud mouth yank so he gets the thumbs up from me Mayweather is the best pound for pound fighter in the world, and I think he has more in his locker than Hatton. Mayweather has faster hands, faster feet and a significant longer reach advantage over Hatton But if Hatton can sit on his chest and get in early as is predicted and gets Mayweathers pretty face a bit swollen it has the makes of a cracking scrap. If he doesn't Mayweather will dance like a bitch all night and keep flicking punches at Hatton and win comfortable Come of Ricky make him look ugly Jonno
lurcherboy
Hatton to win if he dominates the yank for the first five rounds. I've got a big bet on this one and it would make for a nice Christmas. LB

digger
Hatton will get cut in the third, Mayweather will try to work on the cut above the right eye. When he thinks he has him beaten Ricky will explode in the fifth and sixth, by 8 they will be ready to throw the towel in. May "Im a bit of a gangsta" will end up on his **** and the travelling fans will be over the proverbial. Good old English fighting spirit will see him through
