Guest The Outlaw
You be careful you dont end up going diabetic. Try high carbs and proteins, better for you in the long run. Tony
Zapp
Eurrgh, dont know how you can do it! I dont do sweet things at all. I get a choccy orange for christmas each year and some is still in the fridge in june without fail. Having said this, I more than make up for it in pies and ale ZB

Tony I do eat foods in high carbs and protein like potatoes and rice and lots of meat. But I have got cravings for chocolate and if I get a taste of I cant stop eating it. I will probably not eat another choc bar for a couple of weeks now. I get diabetic checkups every year or two and everything is normal so far. I remember I went to a checkup once it was just after lunchtime and I just had some fish and chips and irn bru, got my test result and the nurse was like "wow". she told me to come back a couple of days later where I could not eat anything for like 12 hours (fasting its called). The nurse was really fit so Im glad I went back.

BSA Shaun
Just eaten a cadburys Turkish delight, washing it down with a whiskey mac. This will be followed by some Old Speckled Hen and my British steak stew which has been cooking for a good 4hrs, lovely steak, carrots, parsnips, leek, brocolli and mini corns
webber
Dusty fox Many years ago, I would also indulge as you have, and enjoyed it. What is not so nice is being told that you are diabetic and all of the complications that it brings. I still fancy a bar of chocolate, and quite frequently visit the fridge, and feast my eyes on the array of chocky bars. I have been known to sniff the odd one, and yes, very occasionally sucumb to the call of Cadbury. webber
