A Sick Old Man
I agree I think we are barking up the wrong tree, and we should all buy one of these,,,,, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XjsRxsKQI9Q Then there would be no worries
berettaman1
If I can put my pennoth in folks I think the .22LR will allways reign supreme, I , for silence, (Using subsonic) and 2 ,for ammo cost, 3 ,for the great choice for rifles IE sporters or millitary look alikes,...... any other calibre all though flatter/further shooting carries the one thing no one likes.......NOISE!. A Sick Old Man
I have found the perfect " Gun " forget your .22 or .17,,,,,, I am getting one of these, ammo by the sack, and it will kill anything at over fifty miles http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CpAJOPzKK-M Oh By the way these could be dangerous, please do NOT make one
08shooter
i think the 22lr will still be around a long time. its quiet cheap and a great vermin round.not suitable for foxes but most other species.i ll always have one in my cabinet. al4x
just to disapoint you but the fox being vermin argument has been ended by my local force they now list vermin on your ticket then put including and fox is in the including section Or so I am told by a mate who asked during his application Interview. About time one force actually clarified it.
codling99
well just to confuse things,on my ticket it says for vermin and ground game, and i only applied for my 22 for close range foxes, and .222 for long range foxes, didnt want them for any other thing apart from foxes, was written on my application and explained to fao when he visited, but no mention of fox on ticket .apparently too,cos of new laws regarding small deer, you do not need to send ticket back to have deer put on it,the law will be ok with it(according to magazine)
