shootingwidow
Just a quick hello and introduction to you all. Hope to learn a lot from this forum, maybe why my husband devotes his life to shooting! You never know, I may take up shooting myself (will have to ditch the high heels for wellies though, and that thought still bothers me!). I've shot a few clays before, not that good mind you, but I refused to leave till I had hit some! Would just like to learn a little, so I know what he's talking about and can amaze him with my new found knowledge.

squodged
We could do with some lady shooters to brighten up the bleek days that we get at shooting grounds as of late.

shootingwidow
Hi Guys, thanks for all the welcomes. I think this is one I'll be keeping secret from the hubby! What he doesn't know won't hurt him. I'm looking forward to asking a few questions, maybe learning how to become a good enough shot to go shooting and not embarass myself, or be a danger to anyone! I enjoy the tales my hubby comes back from the field with, and the birds taste quite good too. My ambition is to outshoot him at the clay ground, but have a feeling I'll be old and grey by then. pat 1
Heeelllllllooooooow. and welcome. Do you not know it isnt right to keep secrets from your husband?.We cant have someone who wears highheels and isnt grey yet not be able to shoot. Maybe if you gave us some more info about yourself someone on here could pop around and give you a few pointers?.

Not necessarily so - took a pinky out last week - 2nd or 3rd time out with a light 12 at last and she was good. Given time and chance to build up stamina she will outshoot me I am sure. D

Now Pat, There's a difference between keeping a "little" secret and having someone pop round with some pointers. I have a feeling your idea of a "pointer" and mine wouldn't quite be the same!! My info about me, I'm not a spring chicken, but not ready for the knackers yard yet either. Look better in high heels than wellies. Thats it for now. Nope, not Sue. (or am I???) Dear dear, I only meant, show you where you should be pointing . Us shooters are always ready and mostly able to help anyone with a shooting problem and might I add it would be a bonus not to have to work with some guy in a boiler suit and a stubble. The high heels should'nt put too many off. . Look better in high heels than wellies........mhmmmmmmmmm. B)
