Ferretboy111
Well i have finally sorted out my computer and have downloaded the pictures from a fantastic trip pike fishing me and Pavman had just after Christmas. Pav managed to get a secret, private broad to fish on so we had all the fishing to ourselves including a boat and motor. This was my first proper pike fishing trip from a boat, and it was a favour for a favour, which i hope can be continued especially now since going im addicted to pike fishing and have spent 100's on fishing equipment. Anyway we set off early, deadbaiting using mackeral halfs/smelts/eels/sardines etc. Was a glorious day and we saw sooo much wildlife, including 100's of geese and wildfowl. Along with a heron which followed us around the broad all day. We started the day with a filling breakfast prepared by his partner and finished with a filling tea of game pie. I sadly didnt catch anything all day, but pav managed to bring in the 8lb pike, was just a great experience to get back out on the water seeing as shooting has taken up most of my time recently. Many thanks Pavman Alex Broad= http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m317/fe...11/PC290141.jpg Pike= http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m317/fe...1/Pwithpike.jpg Geese= http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m317/fe...y111/Geese1.jpg Geese= http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m317/fe...oy111/Geese.jpg Heron= http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m317/fe...oy111/Heron.jpg Edited January 30, 2008 by Ferretboy111

Cranfield
Good read and some nice clear pictures. That certainly looks like good pike water. It was really good of pavman to let that old tramp hold his fish.

ShaggyRS6
This scares me to death. I have been in the water with Sharks and Baracuder, but this makes me quiver.

Spaniel
I think that is why i enjoy Fishing so much, it isnt always about catching a nice size fish (well you have to convince yourself of this sometimes) but enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside and the wildlife which surrounds you. I keep saying i fancy a bit of Pike fishing but just aint got off my backside yet to do some.. Glad you enjoyed yourself the pics look really good Cheers
