tosspot
OK I'll admit it the other week i scored such an embarrassingly low score at a reg shoot i never handed my scorecard in not that i'm trying to artificially maintain a high average but i just couldn't face having my name and score on the wall for all to see whilst i cannot condone it i can understand it TP footnote you'd have thought by now that one lesson i should've learned is that staying up to the early hours surfing certain "gentlemans" sites is not conducive to shooting well to following/same day
Stu S
Sorry to p**s on your party mate, but the ground will work out your score from the stand score sheets, and will still submit them to the CPSA. So even without your scorecard, your score still gets sent in. If it's a one off then your 'adjusted average' score should get rid of it anyways, don't fret mate, we all have off days! If you don't believe me, have a look at my scores on the CPSA site, mem no. 116801. Stu

Stu beg to differ Stu i am of the understanding that if you don't hand your card in your score don't count my score for that particular shoot ain't on my members info i thought that the CPSA were making moves to make shooting sporting squadded ala FITASC to overcome sandbagging and ensure all scores were recorded i'm sure cat or Emmsy can clarify this
Stu S
When i was at Mid-Norfolk last sunday, the owner was getting his knickers in a knot over cards not being handed in at the end of the day because several cards had not been handed in, and he was running half an hour late because he had to 'tot up' the scores before he could do the prizes etc, and threatened people with (in a joking manner) making their scores up to a AA standard before handing them in to the CPSA if they did not put their cards in. Not sure if this is a ground policy, or a rule for all clubs, but thats what I am basing my earlier post on! I may be wrong (and if I am, I stand corrected!), and I would like some clarification on this too if someone can clear it up! Stu

It has to be said that the majority will take your score off the master sheet, but one notable ground "Darn Sarf" can't be bothered. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter, we all have off days..!! Cat.
Mungler
Errr Major. Lordian in the gayest of senses. We only have one rule down in Essex - you blank a stand and you shoot the next one with your old boy out. Matt just keeps blanking those stands though, some might think that.... oh hang on...... Stu S
Thanks for that, got it cleared up anyways! Each ground can pretty much do as they wish with your score if you don't hand in your card. Exactly how it should be when all clubs are supposed to stick to a set of rules to make sure that all competitions follow the guidelines laid out by teh governing body for them. Emmsy
as cat said, some will some wont. i think nick at honesberie just puts any non handed in cards as 1 clay per stand, so give you a score 12/100 mind you if your from the essex mafia a 12/100 is a marked improvement
MC
I think that may be sorted in a couple of weeks.
Chard
I don't see any harm in not handing in low cards. That's not sandbagging in my book. Sandbagging, in my opinion, is where you ONLY hand in low cards, so that you keep your class lower than it should be, so that you can stand a better chance of a prize in that category. If you artificially keep yourself in a higher category than you deserve (like me  ) by only handing in good cards, you're only doing it for the snob value (like me), because you've got no ******* chance of winning your class
