Cranfield
I am beginning to think that the video websites like YouTube, etc., are being "seeded" with videos that have been staged, just like the old TV video shows that paid money for clips of "accidents". This one looks like a set-up that went slightly wrong, as I doubt they had planned for the cut eye, but you have to ask why were they videoing that in the first place. Graham M
I took my 12 year old granddaughter with me to sight in my .243 with some 100grn “Partitionsâ€. After sighting them in at 175yds she asked if she could have a go (she likes shooting my .22 Marlin 39a) Firstly she was shown how to lie down with the rifle into her shoulder using the Harris bipod. Once she had sorted out a good position she was then allowed to try the trigger out without any ammunition. Only then was she actually allowed to fire the rifle (she hit the target 2 inches away from the aiming mark). That rifle was obviously too heavy for that girl who had absolutely no idea about how to shoot or what recoil was. The gun owner should be ashamed of himself as he has probably put her off shooting for life. G.M.
mossy835
well that was silly two let her shoot with a rifle with scope ,if it was the first time, she wont want two do that again. he must be a ****.
chunk
The blokes a ***. What was the possible purpose of the video anyway;he hadnt shown her how to shoulder the rifle properly, and the eye relief was too far(fortunately in this case) to be able to see through the scope anyway. All my kids have taken their first shots prone off a bipod with no problems.
cleaner4hire
As soon as that started you could see what was gonna happen - then he makes it worse by standing right behind her... hope she clocked him one once she stopped bleeding!
