Stealth Stalker
I gave Pin & Garyb a call in the week for a spot of foxing, it was a freezing night with a bright full moon Pin was at the wheel in his Pajero & Gary was out the sunroof alongside me with the lamp, we saw our 1st fox in an orchard behind a chain link fence, he was just staring out at us & wasn't budging for all the calling we were throwing at him I wasn't happy with taking the shot, so we moved on. Into the next field & there were another set of eyes looking out from a small copse, we drove in to the center of the field and started calling, she was on the move immediatley crossing the field infront of us towards a wood at about 250 yds, she was stopping for a split second each time & just didn't give me a chance for the shot I then had one of those feelings that we were being watched & as Gary scanned behind us there was a dog fox sat about 115 yds away. I spun round, levelled the cross hairs on the center of his chest & squeezed the trigger, there was the sweet thud of a nice chest shot & down he went without a twitch Gary paced it out at 133yds. We then moved off after a coffee to thaw out & found ourselves in another field surrounded by woods a little calling on the the foxshot caller had another fox in the field this time with no backstop, he started moving to our right & presented himself with a safe back stop. I snatched the shot & missed him I would have liked to have got this one as in the scope he appeared to only have one eye We then saw another fox down near the orchard, there one second gone the next We called it a night, frozen but pleased with the one we got Pic of Pins new badge on his motor. tikkamark
I snatched the shot & missed him I would have liked to have got this one as in the scope he appeared to only have one eye I shot a fox one night that had only 1 eye reflecting the light back i didnt snatch the shot and dropped him turned out he had some unusual coating inside its eye it must have being blind it looked like it got a thorn in its eye or something along those lines at some stage in its life. Either way excellent looking car badge well done lads

bob300w
Like the piccy, could get messy when you go through the carwash! I usually throw mine over the spare wheel, however one night, one had fallen off (or so I thought) , no idea where, so we carried on. Following day, around 5.30 PM, Mitsubishi is parked outside the house, halfway through tea, a knock at the front door, two coppers looking very grim announce "We have had six complaints, if you don't remove that fox we are going to nick you". Somewhat puzzled, I go outside with them, to find that charlie had not fallen off, but slid down behind the spare with his head now protruding through the hole in the centre. They stood over me whilst I removed it, (I thought one of them was going to throw up). Even better, when I returned to the table, 'er indoors said "I saw that there this morning, I meant to tell you!"
