DISPATCH PISTOL

Hello guys,

just asking if anyone uses a small pistol to finish off pigeons when they have not been killed on impact.

I hate killing them, so I would much prefer to put a pellet in the top of their head.

If anyone uses one please let me know what you use, I was thinking about one of those gas operated pistols but I'm just not sure so any info would be great.

I have rung some of their necks but it can get a bit messy sometimes.

Hello Dazza,

I think that could be the thing to use, By the way Dazza your net has been sent to you so you should have it soon mate.

I hope it OK for you, its the same as I use and the pigeons never spot me unless I'm stood outside having a pee, sod's law every time I do 4 pigeons fly over your hide.

I think I will give the priest a go, I hope he does'nt mind... ;)

I have recently found the best way to despatch pigeons (imo). I have seen people doing it with pheasants and the like and it's a mess, but with pigeons because their necks are weak hold the head in your hand and spin the body around once, I was very impressed, it is instant and effective.

I agree with Teal .

I hold the head of the bird and spin it, once seems to to the trick.

Just takes a bit of practice or you end up with Woody, parts one and two ?

(Its called the Sutty death spin, in fact the wife uses it on me all the time.)

Regards Sutty :lol::lol::lol::lol:
