DramaQueen
Well Privalege insurance have lost me as a customer when I need to renew. I have just been watching Animal Planet, and to say I am disapointed is an understatment. Privalege are using Game shooters as a marketing tool, saying you dont need to be posh to be privaleged. Nigel Havers is taking the rise out of Game shooters in the advert. If I can get it on Youtube I will put the linky thing on here. I need to renew soon and they will not have my future custom, I have two vehicles insured with them, so it time to shop around. Ferret Master
I've seen it too. A large group of them packed into a small clearing. FM
DramaQueen
I just watched it again, they basiclly implied that game shooters are posh and they have little regard for thier quarry. We go on lots of game shoots, and have never the seen behaviour they accuse shooters of posessing. It just adds fuel to the "anti" fire as far as I can see, irresponsible advertising at its best. pin
The "stereotype" of the "game" shooter amongst the masses is as portrayed here - it is up to bodies like the BASC to get the message out that it's not like this. The advertising company has got the idea from somewhere, irresponsible as shooters might say it is, it's still an opinion shared by a lot of folk. ph5172
I have been with privilege for many years and i actually find the advert mildly amusing... i think the word is irony. Very sterotypical yes but have you ever been to some high class game shoots, the advert all in one!! its only an advert

paulf
Ill echo Peter I also use NFU mutual. I get good rates being that I hold both motor insurance policys and my business liability insurance with them. When one of my vehicles was written off I had a cheque within 8 days and an extremly fair setelment. Nice to seak to a local office as well rather than bangladesh. DramaQueen
Underwritten by Directline, says it all really, I have been hunting for our best quote and got a great deal with Esure, saving £160 over 2 vehicles. Pirate
I've been stuffing on many days like that, 600 bird days, so that advert is mild considering, but a right **** take. Mind you, the guns were a tad further apart! Pirate:
The Great Cornholio
I for one will not be letting my girlfriend renew her Car Insurance with Sheila's Wheels. Some of my best friends are Aussies. None of them are transvestites... I think
