lurcherboy
I have been watching a regular feeding spot for the woodies all week. So I set up today at 1.30pm and the first one came in within 5 minutes which I managed to take a few tail feathers off then I sat there for 3 hours without any action. I should have moved but the conditions were just right for a good day. Just goes to show you that the best laid plans etc. LB

Cranfield
LB It might just be me But i think you would do better shooting them rather than plucking them He shoots them in "instalments". Tough luck LB, I won't mention the 41 we had between two of us on Thursday when we were only out for a recce, but saw some hitting a rape field hard. We only had one hide and I ended up standing against a hedge in my cammo net suit with face veil and shooting 25 birds in 3 hours.
