drut
Hi:Have become hooked after reading posts on here & bought Bushnell sentry 2.1. Got a piece of wood on one of my permissions with some well used trails. These are some from first outing. Regards:D.R.

jef
and another couple... collected camera tonight after 3 days and it had 270 pics on it. Of those 270, 6 had an animal in them. The wind has really picked up here in the last two days.

Highlander
Great pics but is that the unit that comes with IR or does it use flash? IR is better methinks. I'm thinking of getting one of these as local keeper has one that's the dogs dangly bits. You pick up all sorts of stuff AND get a good idea of whats on your turf including people 'cause with IR nobody's aware they've been snapped. drut
Hi: Unit is the one with flash but beware of IR flash for poachers/covert etc.as I have been told IR flash is visible(dull red glow).Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can advise you. Wookie
Antis would, I am sure nick or break it. Mind you, rigging something up to relay the pics over WiFi/GPRS to a base station would be a plan. You'd lose the camera, but the picture of them breaking it up would be on it's way to plod. one of those cameras would be good round my way for seeing where the deer go at night... Anni
How do they work and what do these trail cams look like. And how much we talking. I would love one myself. Has anyone got a link or a name for them. cheers
jef
This was the link I got and I ordered one the same night. My one and D.r.'s ( i think) is the Bushnell 2.1MP. But I'm sure there is a 4MP for the same price. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...entId=cat602025 Didin't someone say the IR versions make a noise when they capture the photo??? It cost about £60 all in, and arrived in a week or ten days. Jef Edited June 12, 2008 by jef
