Lurch
You do know that Kerry has a 20 year record in the Senate as a supporter of gun-grabbing and gun-control measures all you Kerry clickers? A couple of photo-ops do not make a firearms ownership supporter out of a gun grabber.

red_stag88
BUSH!!..cause from what ive heard if Kerry is voted guns will be banned. Aled Aled is a constitutional right to bear arms. That would mean changing the constitution, which I imagine would be hard.
ollie
Its very even balanced at the moment. I went for bush because I saw Kerry throwing the first pitch at one of the world series baseball games and he didn't even make home plate the pussy, how could he run a country. Lurch
BUSH!!..cause from what ive heard if Kerry is voted guns will be banned. Aled Aled is a constitutional right to bear arms. That would mean changing the constitution, which I imagine would be hard. Ah Red my young naive friend! The constitution says that the right to.... shall not be infringed. There are many thousands of laws which restrict the US citizen's RKBA, all Kerry would have needed to do is to fill the Supreme Court with gun-unfriendly justices (there are three vacancies coming up) and the 2nd amendment would be re-interpreted to mean that the government can have guns but the people cannot. There is already such a ruling, that would just need a wee bit of strengthening. There is also a wee thing in the constitution which protects free speech and yet organizations such as the NRA are unable to comment in the media in the run up to an election regarding the candidates. There is a clause in our own Bill of Rights which enshrines our own common law right to arms suitable for our defence, our government felt free to ignore it - no reason why the US shouldn't come to the same conclusion in the end. red_stag88
I hear what you say. Most politicians have a whole bank of lawyers who are trying to find other meanings in the law to get their own way.

Lurch
Aled, who cares if Kerry bans guns. Thats in America, not here. I reckon Kerry should have one, bush is a *****. I've posting regarding this in so many forums I can't remember what I've said where, so if I'm repeating myself... well I don't care  If Kerry had won, he wouldn't just have facilitated domestic gun grabbing. By sending a pro-gun control representative to the UN the whole world would be facing increasingly restrictive gun ownership rights which would not be possible with a Bush representative at the table. IANSA would think all their Christmasses had come at once and mad witch Gill Marshall-Andrews would be doing a naked happy dance around the fire if there were a Kerry government. Yorkshire Pudding
Bush is a war munger . When he decides to go into Iran to sort them folks out there , he's going to get us all killed . War on terror , my **** ! TLE have a listen to kinky sex makes the world go round - by the dead kennedys . Just incase you can't the lyrics are posted below . DEAD KENNEDYS LYRICS "Kinky Sex Makes The World Go 'Round" Greetings:This is the Secretary of War at the State Department of the United States We have a problem. The companies want something done about this sluggish world economic situation Profits have been running a little thin lately and we need to stimulate some growth Now we know there's an alarmingly high number of young people roaming around in your country with nothing to do but stir up trouble for the police and damage private property. It doesn't look like they'll ever get a job It's about time we did something constructive with these people We've got thousands of 'em here too. They're crawling all over The companies think it's time we all sit down, have a serious get-together- And start another war The President? He loves the idea! All those missiles streaming overhead to and fro Napalm People running down the road, skin on fire The Soviets seem up for it: The Kremlin's been itching for the real thing for years. Hell, Afghanistan's no fun So whadya say? We don't even have to win this war. We just want to cut down on some of this excess population Now look. Just start up a draft; draft as many of those people as you can. We'll call up every last youngster we can get our hands on, hand 'em some speed, give 'em an hour or two to learn how to use an automatic rifle and send 'em on their way Libya? El Salvador? How 'bout Northern Ireland? Or a "moderately repressive regime" in South America? We'll just cook up a good Soviet threat story in the Middle East-we need that oil We had Libya all ready to go and Colonel Khadafy's hit squad didn't even show up. I tell ya That man is unreliable. The Kremlin had their fingers on the button just like we did for that one Now just think for a minute-We can make this war so big-so BIG The more people we kill in this war, the more the economy will prosper We can get rid of practically everybody on your dole queue if we plan this right. Take every loafer on welfare right off our computer rolls Now don't worry about demonstrations-just pump up your drug supply. So many people have hooked themselves on heroin and amphetamines since we took over, it's just like Vietnam. We had everybody so busy with LSD they never got too strong. Kept the war functioning just fine It's easy. We've got our college kids so interested in beer they don't even care if we start manufacturing germ bombs again. Put a nuclear stockpile in their back yard, they wouldn't even know what it looked like So how 'bout it? Look-War is money. The arms manufacturers tell me unless we get our bomb factories up to full production the whole economy is going to collapse The Soviets are in the same boat. We all agree the time has come for the big one, so whadya say?!? That's excellent. We knew you'd agree The companies will be very pleased. Taken from an album that was released in 1987 . But rings true today . Anyways TLE , i thought folks in Canada thought of Americans , as the drunk who lives next door . Ok to wave at if they are in their own yard , but a nightmare if they step into your yard all the best yis yp
