Dunkield
1) Get a friend 2) Get him/her to hold the lamp.

Vegeta
I suppose you could point the lamp a little higher if possible or put a bit of card over the bottom of the lense if you tried everything else and nothing worked

Axe
I resolved my glare issues with a combination of sunshade and mounting the light as far back on the scope as possible. I had to adjust the position of the mount to acheive this.
Scarpa
Use a length of mountain bike inner tube over the mod. Quiet and dull. If it's a wide moderator then go for the <2.7" tubes.
JohnGalway
You could try something like a plastic paint can with the bottom cut out, obviously it'd have to be the same size as the lamp, fitting it onto the lamp may remove the light that's hitting your mod and reflecting back into your scope. Basically you'd be making a sunshade for your lamp, not scope. It's worth a try. Edited July 22, 2008 by JohnGalway
