malkiserow
The stats revealed that Calzaghe threw 985 punches to Jones' 475 in Maddison Square Garden this morning A true Welsh sporting hero is Calzaghe (to avoid any confusion - Jones is the American) but will Calzaghe retire now? Gordon R
Brilliant performance from the best. Did not get hit by a punch, which put him down, but a forearm to the nose.
cr4cki3
46-0 ! really enjoyed the fight and i have to agree the knockdown was more of a forearm slap but still a decent shot though . All credit to roy alot of fighters would have called it a day with such a bad cut but he battled on and gave a good account of himself
sirusman
I think he may try to equal or beat Marcianos record of 49 unbeaten,i hope he calls it a day now at the very top Edited November 9, 2008 by sirusman
Taff Mason
i love watching joe fight so a part of me wants him to keep going. but he's asking for trouble if he keeps staying on for ''one more fight''. its only a matter of time before he gets beaten. i think he should retire now ate the top. peter-peter
Joe is a real life scrapper. when the going gets tough he just seems to get into another gear. when he's embroiled in a battle he smiles. he loves it. have you noticed he looks like a young micheal palin. long may he continue to rule his class.

LXX73
The stats speak for themselves and although hes obviously an immensley talented boxer, Ive always found him to be a boring fighter who appears to slap rather than punch. LXX73
you dont know anything about boxing then Obviously not. But the fact is that Calzaghe has never been a major box office attraction due to his fighting style. In regards boxing I used to box myself and have travelled all round this country and to the states to watch many fights.
the hitman
Cracking fighter and i think he should retire now. Because there are so many belts at the same weight , boxers can avoid dangerous fighters , and alot of fighters steered clear of joe. I Would have liked to how he would have done against Hearns , Hagler or even Benn .

30-6
I reckon he'll do one more fight at the Millenium stadium in Cardiff. If I am correct his gym is a tin shack (if it is the one I am thinking of it is next to a rugby field), in Newbridge, anyone confirm this ? I was laughing at Enzo his old man chewing his gum, he was going so fast he would have left Alex Ferguson standing, and the blood man for Jones, his hands were shaking so much I thought he was going to have an eye out. LXX73
The stats speak for themselves . his record speaks for its self mate. Id already mentioned this but I still stand by my opinion that he isnt an exciting fighter to watch, although your right about the Eubank fight that is probably the only Calzaghe fight Ive enjoyed.
