webber
That looks like a most generous offer Jerry. Sadly I cant come, as I cant walk too far, and have no dog. I doubt that you will struggle to fill your place. Have a good day! webber
Paul@Ribchester
What an offer, I might book the day off work. I haven't got a dog but a good friend of mine has a good working Lab. Can you accomodate 2 of us with one dog? We both have insurance and live in Lancashire so not too far away. Thanks, Paul.
rsrjerry
Its not essential to have a dog but would be a good help , as i have one mad sprocker , a mate had to have his dog put to sleep unexpectably as did i have to have my lab put to sleep .a mate who is coming has a terrier that is brillaint for rough shooting but not sure if we have many other dogs coming . rsrjerry
as for bag well that is ?? what ever we get and how good we can shoot . like i said it is a rough shooting day and basically we will shoot at what we can safely , one of the drives may be a large pond which will be driven off and there is a lot of duck and geese on and we may also do a duck flight at the end . Paul@Ribchester
My old Staffie is so gun shy its unreal. He chewed through a solid fire door last week with the fireworks. ! I'll buzz my mate to see if he is up for it, he is a self employed plummer so he should be able to sort something out. Cheers, Paul.

scolopax
Just read this thread, how did the day go?? I cannot tell if it was invitation for paying guns to make up a team or a generous offer of a free days shooting.
rsrjerry
The day was offered for free and was a good day, mixed bag of mallard, teal, pheasant, woodcock and enjoyed by all . it was a pity i could not accomodate everyone who asked .cheers
scolopax
Very well done, extremely generous of yourself to provide a days sport for folk who were I guess pretty much unknown to yourself .
