Gemini
Ebay have a new policy whereas they are now effusing to allow any “Shooting related” items to be sold. This includes reloading gear, gun slips, bullets cases etc. I have emailed them to express my concern but it seems like they have been bullied by some labour back-bench MP who has been stirring the pot. Apparently someone was shot dead a couple of months ago by someone who had reloaded his own ammo. So he is now seeking to try and ban home reloading to stop criminals from making their own, and to hell with the rest of us people who love to reload and cut the cost of ammunition. The fact that 99.99999999999% of criminals simply buy their ammo along with the illegal gun doesn’t seem to be of any concern to this idiot, who thinks that anyone can simply make their own. I have found that anyone who goes into a gunshop to buy primers has to show his firearms certificate, so this killer must have obtained his materials illicitly. So how is banning reloading going to stop this thing from happening again. Just ebay jumping on the PC band-wagon me thinks. G.M.
longnetter
I bought a large vehicle number plate on E BAY, it was cheap at half the price, apparently, IT FELL OFF THE BACK OF A LORRY! Me and a mate once bought a stolen calendar, we were done by the police and got six months apiece!
Wookie
Cheesy joke, but it made me laugh! Is it really true they are banning_all_ shooting related stuff? Dammit, that means that there's one less thing for me to browse. I'm thinking that scopes and similar stuff will be going by the wayside then. If it's all about people getting killed/maimed by items bought off eBay, why don't they ban baseball bats and hammers? Idiots Wookie
gamebag
I agree with you their wookie!!!! you got more offensive tack on ebay in the way of house hold or sporting goods!!!. :<
white fox
I was addicted to ebay about one year ago, found myself on it every night, buying loads of duff-stuff. Decided to give it up, big problems at first, but hung in there (with help from my friends), now am totally clean, this is the first time I have thought about ebay in months, and no, I am not tempted for just one click on the site. It can be done, give it up now. I was thinking of making some special patches you put on your arm to help people give up ebay, suppose I could sell them on...........aargghhhhh
peck
Just thought i would add a note about e bay, they are not banning All shooting related stuff just anything that is capable of firing any missile, ( not ICBM type ) any bullets or projectile, also banning re loading stuff, replica firearms bullet cases etc. i recently tried to sell a target rifle sight (not scope ) and they pulled it saying that it was part of the ban, i appealed and they then let it back on. havnt these MP got anything better to do than persecute law abiding gun owners :< :< :< :< :< :<
old rooster
Ebay is OK if you use it right, bit like guns I spose. I sold loads of my late Fathers camera stuff for my dear old Mum. Bought my Fourtrak on Ebay and it's a diamond. I couldn't afford all this time off shooting and ferreting if I stopped selling my range of home crafted sex toys on Ebay Watch out for the certified cheque scam if selling large items though, particularly cars and caravans !!!!!! Gemini
Apparently not!!!!! Let’s face it half the eejits don’t have a clue about most of the subjects that they are legislating on, so when they find a hobby horse that they can tell as many lies about as they want, without anyone (except us nasty gun owners) complaining about it, they can’t resist it. If they tried that with any other subject they would be hauled over the coals by the press. But when the majority of the press are as ******* anti-gun as they are then it would appear that they can (and do) do as they please! G.M.
