Mungler
Okay, I grew up on Dr Who, Thunderbirds, The Tomorrow People, Saphire and Steel, Star Treck.... all of which I remember as being "great" but when watched again are utter rubbish - wooden acting and wobbly sets. However, I have just today taken delivery of the complete box set of "Monkey" and have started watching them again <coughs> with and for the kids of course. I am amazed that it's still actually very watchable and not at all pants. I would also add that The Men from UNCLE also stands the test of time IMHO. What say you, what know you? Spaniel
Now i thought Monkey was excellent when i was a kid, but i do like sitting down to watch Dr Who with the Kids, its all booked on the Sky ready for tomorrow evening

Mungler
Now i thought Monkey was excellent when i was a kid, but i do like sitting down to watch Dr Who with the Kids, its all booked on the Sky ready for tomorrow evening I grew up on Tom Baker as Dr Who and thought it was brill. However, you watch an old Dr. Who episode with Tom Baker now and you'll choke on the hammed up performance and marvel at how unrealistic BBC carboard props actually were.
