Greenhunter
Might be able to help if you want to modify a full-body by sending you templates of wing and tail set but if you want to make the whole thing out of foam then I'm afraid I can't help you there. PM me if you think I could help.
henry d
Why not bung a couple of dead birds (or several even) in the freezer.

adymorris
right got em assembles and sort of painted - I may well do a bit more airbrushing - not sure yet - anyway here they are Used templates cut them out and sprayed them Next I used Isopon P40 to bond together & banged a couple of screws in for good measure http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy4.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy3.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy1.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy2.jpg Sprayed the wings & tail dark grey Sprayed the underneath http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy6.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy7.jpg Sprayed the feather patterns & colours on the wings http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy8.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady...f/PigDecoy9.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/ady.../PigDecoy10.jpg I'll probably drill a couple of holes in the wings for the spikes to fit through on the magnet so it helps keep them on
Nial
Looks good, what material do you use for the wings and tail? I've thought of doing something like this myself but can't work out what to use. And, why did you paint the bottom of the wings? Nial. I used some off cut board - like the stuff you get at the bottom of a cheap chest of drawers - got it from the local DIY shop 50p for 2 pieces, done both birds with enough left for half of another one or possibly a pair of sparrow wings !! I painted the bottom to get a feel for how the paint was going to go on - it was the first time I had used that particular airbrush so was not sure what to expect - a bit of a practice run really
