throdgrain
Not too impressed with Horne at the moment. I scored 71 in members C class the other week, and they gave the win to someone who scored 68, despite me handing in my card and all that. I even rung them up about it when I saw the result, they just kind of went err err dunno I suspect what happened is they forgot to write members C class on the card, and I didnt notice, and put it into open C, where the winning score was 74. I'll be up Gatton Bottom sunday Dave, may see you
Nicky T
Shot an okay-ish 80 today at Worsley in the members knock- out comp which translated to an 84 with handicap. Lost out by one clay as Chris Ellis the guy I was shooting against shot an 85 (84 + his handicap of 1) It's all good though, well done to Chris and good luck in the final

I know it wasn't good Jay (Maglad) shot better than his 45 looks, he started the course with a raging bellyache, but I think he'd trumped it through by stand 6 I shot like a complete pillock on 2 stands, 2/6 and 3/6 :o :o :o but did OK on the rest of the course. Strange lapse of concentration on those two  It was the members handicrap competition, think I was about 4th (ish) Edited October 10, 2009 by Chard

Every time I go out with this new gun it's getting better Should have has a good late 80 score but dropping silly birds on stands. Good shooting the young magman and the old one had his moments here and there, I thought he had got more than 70 Yellowbear and timps shot some stands very well and some stands a pile of doodoo Timps is still in the dip I think Edited October 10, 2009 by Anni
Chard
I thought there were some good birds there today. They'd obviously given them some thought, to ring the changes a bit. Obviously caught a lot of people out, I noticed some very wafty scores on the board there

It was definitely a little more testing than usual which makes a pleasant change Wafty scores hey - none of the usual big 97's? No big scores. Mike Faux put in a 90. There was an 88 and Nev James got 87. Then it was me on 86. There may have been one or two more to come in but I don't think so And yes, I'll enjoy my wooden cocks, as Jay calls them Edited October 10, 2009 by Chard
