nickb
Was out lamping with a pal last night when we caught the eye of something that had us both scratching our heads (not lice) First thought using the lamp with a red filter, was a fox. But it looked too small, taking the filter off, it looked grey in colour, not much bigger than a large rabbit, but moved more like a fox! Dont think it was a cat, and it responded to squeaking same as Charlie would  Anyway, as not sure what it was didn`t shoot Has anyone else seen owt weird while out at night? nickb
Possibly a young one, but moved very quickly, like a fox.......
SteveT
Wasn't a badger was it? They can move pretty quick when they want to, its doubtful it would be a fox cub at this time of year. Also as for squeaking it in, most animals would turn to a squeak.....But only a fox would come in for a closer look......

Admiral Von Tirpitz
Sounds like a badger, but ghost dogs are known if you have any spiritual beliefs.

Billy.
Badger I think... they have an up and down movement in their eyes (on the lamp) when they walk, which can look like a small fox running.
