poontang
what a legend a true countryman and a proper gentleman rest in peace jack Bit late Willy. The guy (Clive Hornby) died at the beginning of July last year. He was an accounts clerk and a drummer in a band before becoming an actor, and joined Emmerdale (Farm) in 1980!! Not sure that makes him a 'true countryman'? I bet you think Taggart was a real Jock??

Lurch
"Jack Sugden" was an ****. Plus the show tried to crack on like 'Butlers Farm' was Jack's farm, when of course Jack's farm was Emmerdale and he gave it up after failing to make it pay. Load of old ****. Disclaimer - the missus insists on watching it whilst dinner/supper/tea (delete as according to your countryman status)
