Dougy
Well done Dougy, a red letter days stalking I imagine a 30.06 certainly kills munjac! And did you do the 'Dougy dance' after? Yes the 30.06 does the job ok, it did move though after it was hit, about a yard further back. Dance, i was swinging through the trees. i was knackered after some very long stalks through some rough ground. I never realised how hard it is to spot them, there i was trying to find a Roe Doe that was supposed to be stairing me in the eye, i couldnt see jack, maybe be cus i,m colour blind, (or just plain blind). Munties certianly dont like stopping around for too long, seem to have very itchy feet.
miffy
I don't remember you wearing that lipstick or the cool lookin shades when i took the photo We didn't get to finish the stalking trip off but had we been able to go out for a 4th stalk then i'm sure that Dougy would have shot another 2 or 3 easily, that's assuming that he could see the deer in the first place I managed another 6 so between us we had 13 deer in 3 stalks (2 Muntjac and 11 Roe) Let me know if you want to have a go at the Roe bucks mate and i'll sort something out. P.S. you owe me a new set of shooting sticks
