stealth ghost camo net

Hi,

Just checked the fleabay, this item "****************" is being listed by a topbayer, who runs a good online website. ***************************** (and remove the two letter word) you will have a good idea of his website.

I use this netting all the time, I have tyrapped it to the poles giving a 1m square hide that sets up in seconds. I also have a second non stealth net, that I use as a dark backdrop if I setup in the open without a dark background. If you setup infront of greenery you become invisable with it. Just watchout for sunlight shining through showing your outline.

Hope this helps, Agent

:shifty: out of all my hides, this one is my favourite, it blends in well on it's own, is easy to stick bits of foliage into if you want, has good vis, very easy to set up and folds down nice and small to fit in your bag or bucket seat. I paid £30 for mine, i think you'll do well to find one cheaper than this that is the real mcoy

Hi All

Just about to get me first nets and poles and stumbled over this thread.

Looked at UKShootwarehouse and they have both single and double ply - I assume that the single ply would be both cheaper and lighter so does anyone use just single or is it too thin ??

Also looking at the twist lock poles which look cool, again any experiences of these or alternatives???

Do PW members get any discounts on this site or do we operate a group buy on these boards - I am a member of an av forum where the group buy aimed at selected retailers has and is still gettin some good deals in these hard times.

Cheers

You do get a Pigeon Watch discount from UKShootwarehouse.

I am not a great fan of twistlock hide poles, because of the very frequent use I give them, the nylon locking bit soon goes beyond adjustment and they don't lock properly.

I have even resorted to sliding rubber grommits up the pole and using these to stop the pole slipping, after I have set them up.

Recently I went back to the old type with the locking screw system, they work beautifully.

Been using the stealth cammo net and yes its very good when viewed from the field, BUT......I have found that is fairly hard on the eyes after looking out of it for a few hours

I am going to get a more traditional type net with a more open scrim and will use the stealth as a roof net.

I've many nets but use the stealth all the time with a bit (very small piece) of army camo net as the roof (if I need one).

I have UKshootthingywhowebsiteisbackupandrunning poles. Speak to Matt there, he will sort you out. I have 6 poles but rarely use all, often just a few and a couple of bungies on to trees/bushes

Was gifted a large piece of leightweight MOD netting so gunna make a few tweaks with it and should be all sorted. Thanks for all the help and tips
