Dead-Eyed Duck
Swaro 2.5 - 10 x 56. I tend to leave it on 10 mag. Brilliant light pick up. OK for foxes up to 250 yards - never stretch it beyond this at night. Don

njc110381
When I had mine it had a Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x50 on it. To be honest a little more mag would have been useful for the bunnies in the day.

Baldrick
Zeiss 6-24x56 on .22-250, Swarovski 6-24x56s on .270 and 7mmSTW. About to order a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56, when I make my mind up on reticles. AndyCM, Gregor MacLeod is selling an ex-demo Swarovski 4-16x (non-illuminated) for £750, if you check out the second-hand optics section on his site. George1990
Do more expensive scopes hold zero better? Or is it just a case of better optics and build? Don't have a .223  but have a cheapo Hawke 3-9 x 42 on my .22 air rifle. Don't know whether i should splash out when i get my HMR.
