Clubshot
Have read that most serious Shooters are a Member of a Shooting Association Who are you covered by ? And have you ever made a Claim Or had problems dealing with Claim ? Personally been with BASC - for most of my Shooting Life Yes more expensive than some But Staff cost money and Staff are needed to Deal with Issues BOB/R

SNAKEBITE
If I need legal advice, I would speak to my Solicitor. Who would most likely be clueless. Unless he was a specialist in Firearms laws, or whatever the term is.
Westcountryman
Who would most likely be clueless. Unless he was a specialist in Firearms laws, or whatever the term is. http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread...7198&page=1 I am sure some people find BASC helpful. That guy certainly didn't. The police confiscated his airgun and threatened him with arrest. BASC answer? Speak to a solicitor. Don't get me wrong, I am sure they are a marvellous organisation, but for £60? I would rather pocket the £30 and seek advise elsewhere, on the 1 in 1000 chance I will need legal help.
Beardo
i quote the guy in that thread "i will remain with BASC as like i said they offered superb legal advice im glad i didn't have to use it." And on the back of that situation they have produced two fact sheets. Edited June 16, 2009 by nickbeardo
