damn! tommy trucker---you and your rifle are a force to be reckoned with. :thumbs: how do you set up to shoot those foxes? do you use any calls or do you just pattern their movements? you must be one hell of a good shot and woodsman. i would be interested in understanding your basic methods in setting yourself up to shoot those foxes. have you ever taken a fox with your shotgun?

i use evry method i can to out wit good old mr fox, call,stalk, lamp,early morn/dusk. as for using bettsie booma lomar against foxes the answer is yes i,ve shot a few with her

I use these for all catties:

3-8 steel ball bearings:

The Eagle has a nice round flight.

Likes a hard throw and loves the

wind...it also needs some layover.

If you get good you can hit 2 at a time and straight back to the hide.

You shoud try using 15mil nuts there just like hollow points, only you don have the velocity. look in chair gun for ballistic chart.

I must confess a soft spot for the early Enfields

 

snotty, my great great grandfather was a wounded confederate war veteran. the british enfield was a prize weapon used by a good many confederate soldiers in the war between the states. many enfields made their way via blockade runner to the southern ranks during the civil war. they were prized for their accuracy and many a yankee went to meet his maker on account of them.
