Harnser
for a base for a whirly that will go into any ground hard or soft and guarenteed to stay in the ground all day ,takes just seconds to fix . No need to hammer or kick . Its a piece of kit that is brilliant in its conception . Devised by a pigeon shooter who is an engineer by trade . Harnser . weejase
I bought a magnet last year and I`ve used It only once :rolleyes:when I tried It for the first time the ground was quite soft and the magnet started to wobble about It has put me off using It again, unless I have an extra couple of spikes attached for stability so I`d say a base plate that doesn`t require much effort and doesn`t wobble would be worth a decent price jase. Cranfield
There is a "collar" fitting with three screw in legs that has been around for a while, you slide it on the base of the rotary and then tighten up a couple of clamps to hold it on. Pinewood sell them.

starlight32
Due to enormous demand, I shall retreat for the moment and allow the old boy from norfolk to make a few quid on the side. I made a few of these originally for myself and friends, I gave the design as a project to the apprentices at work to do, I ended up with a surplus...... Patent pending with a protected design- which includes people from Norfolk. Harnser, If you do bring this product to sale, I shall flood the market with cheap imitations stamped 'Made in Mars,Norfolk by Harnser' produced by the minimum wage juvenile workers I have at my disposal. Cranfield
No nothing as crude as that cranfield .Harnser . I wouldn't call that "crude", go and have a look at one on their site. Give us some clues as to what you are suggesting, for all the information we have it could be a breeze block with a hole in it.

Harnser
Ok , Cranfield i will give you a clue . These can be bought over the counter at certain stores for not very much money . They need a slight modification or shall I say a small addition . Then they will then become the Harnser mk 1 magnet base . The only no tools ( lump hammer )no effort magnet base available to shooters in the world . As I have said before they will go into any ground frozen ,wet ,or hard and if you were strong enough they would go into concrete . They will remain rigid all day untill you want to take them out again . If necessary they can be put into the ground at an angle . They are of a very sturdy construction and will last the life time of any shooter . Dont worry boys i had no intention of selling these and will come clean and post the MK 1 harnser magnet base after i have taken some pictures over the next few days . Only problem is i dont know how to post pictures on to this site . So will need somebody to do it for me . I can e-mail the pictures to a member who can then post them . Please dont offer to teach me to post pictures ,you will be waisting your time . Watch this space . Harnser .

Harnser
here are the pics? looks good Well there you have it boys . THE MK1 HARNSER MAGNET BASE . They are ground anchors for tent poles washing lines ect . They are sold in aldi for a fiver . you need to weld in a flange as per the photo with a square hole for the magnet stem . Wind them into the ground as far as they will go and you will feel it getting tighter . I promise you they will not move or wobble all day . A cheap and practical answer to the problem of getting the magnet into the ground and keeping it there . Harnser .
