Toombsy
Talking of goldfinches, the first time I took my ex-girlfriend to my folk's house there were six goldfinches feeding on the bird table. She was fascinated by them and said; "They're so pretty. What are they?" I told her they were Vietnamese Dwarf Rainforest Parrots and that they had escaped from the local bird sanctuary. She was really gutted when I told her that they wouldn't be able to cope with our harsh winter and would all drop off the branches and get eaten by foxes.
