grasshopper
Nicely done John, great when all goes as planned. You showed some good fieldcraft there...been reading a book or something I too was out last night...took the veggie to see some badgers as she,d only seen dead ones all over the roads when we were in Cornwall recently. Was thinking i,d be thought of as a waffler as they weren,t showing like usual, but eventually 2 came out of the woods and i got us to within 15yds of 1 so all was well...she still cannot understand the attraction of sitting on your own in a field with your weapon in your hand though :yp: ...strange girl We also saw a Roe Buck,Roe Doe,Rabbitts and Hares,a Kestrel and a Buzzard...oh yeah and 2 A...Wipes drinking cider in a field P.S. Wasn,t allowed to take a gun, even though i said it was for protection
tikkamark
Excellent stuff as always john I have to start making more use of my 3.5" shottie if i had it last night i could have bagged a few that myself and shane got close to but we still knocked 4 so it was a good night The vermin count is on tomorrow morn i must take a few pics to show ya!Oh yeah my t8 has pretty much packed up due to bloody rust so im back to the louder more traditional way of doing things :yp:

tikkamark
Good work there Mark Good news too on the mod front, you probably heard already but they removed two word from the new law which means ALL moderators are now back under control of the local Supernintendo Yeah i was in with the local gaurd this eve showing him how to fill in the new firearm cert forms I had to fill in five of them and they are a bit of a pain to fill having to repeat yourself five times but its done now hopefully i get them back before the end of october because thats all they extended my current certs until Did you fill out your ones yet?? Shot 3 foxes out last night too shane got one with the 223 and i got 2 with the extrema i was inspired to bring it out after reading your thread One fox came storming in to a very quiet mouse squeal call and only for i had the shottie we would prob not have got him because he came in to about 10yards with his head down at full sprint!Have to say my heart was fairly pounding after it! AndyCM
Hi John, top job there, thanks for sharing. Did you lamp right to the end or could you see her without the lamp? I guess holding a shotgun and a regular lamp is a little tricky. Maybe thinking of rigging up some gun mounted light - with a stock mounted switch to my semi auto - under barrel should work ok. I have a night-ops gladius, and want similar power without the price tag or gadget bits (just the stock switch at a reasonable price. Cheers AndyCM
