compo90
Doesn't it depend on the price you are asking?

Breastman
The price of the ad is determine d by the asking price of the gun
Davyo
since when has it cost £15 to advertise a shotgun on there? sure it was about £7 last time i did. Just use Gun watch, I have sold about 7 over the years & always sold within 2/3 days. Its only about £2.50 as long as your not asking stupid monies for a second hand gun It will sell. What I mean by stupid monies is, someone selling a second hand gun for £550 when it's only £600 brand new.Once saw an SXP being sold for £300 when it's only £345 brand new,I advertised my SXP 3 month old for £200 sold within 20 mins. Breastman
Am i right in thinking you can post a free ad on GunWatch once per year? Any idea when that period is counted from? Its just i placed a free ad on 11th June last year but it still won't let me post another ad yet?
Davyo
Dont know if its once a year, can rememer getting a free add the 1st time i sold>
Breastman
The sticky thread with the info on how to work it/terms etc suggests its once a year; What are the costs?1. This is FREE for private sellers to sell one gun per year. For additional guns it costs £2.79 per listing. If a gun doesn't sell then to re-list it for an extra month cost just 99p. Ginger_Swingers
At least you can list a gun on there... been waiting over a day for my acceptance on gunwatch, would really like to list a rifle but it's not easy when the forum won't let me! Should be running for you now G_S - for some reason it missed the automatic validation. In the next week or two we should cross £2 million of guns sold through Gun Watch, so it's a good platform for selling because you get the whole PW audience and also dedicated gun sale site of Gun Watch

Ginger_Swingers
Thanks Teal, I was getting frustrated cos I've also tried listing on several other websites and drawn a blank with those too. Gunwatch is always my first port of call along with guntrader.
