TUNED BSA SCORPION

well my shooting buddy just loves his BSA rifles and if I,m honest they are not for me BUT I have to admit since he has had two of his rifles tuned and rebuilt by Carl at AIRTECH I am slowly starting to take a liking for them,

I will be very honest in saying they certainly shoot as smooth as any rifle I own that's for sure, accuracy and consistency over the chrono is superb to say the least and the shot count on them has increased to nearly double, infact on my other buddies ultra se that Carl worked on , it is shooting well over 100 shots per charge. Now before some of you jump down my throat telling me its not possible well guys I,ve actually seen it and chrono,d them myself and the AIRTECH REGULATOR is superb, over a 120 shot spread it had a variable of 6fps which is superb,

anyways enough of my waffling my buddy Roger popped round to show me his latest Airtech BSA Scorpion which has been totally rebuilt by Carl and all I can say is it really shoots and looks superb, he,s well happy with it so really that's all that matters, ok the red carbon shroud stands out but I think its whatever rocks your boat, now its come back it has a built in silencer/airstripper inside the shroud and it is very very quiet indeed, well I could not even hear it from 20yrds away and I,m ultra fussy, here,s a few pics of the rifle as it has come back and ready for taking out and knocking a few targets down,

if anyone is interested in having one of these stocks made for their BSA,s then PM Roger (Golfshot) on here and he,ll let ya know how to go about getting one made, here are a couple of pics of his fully tuned Scorpion

don't ya like the red carbon fibre guy,s ???

certainly stands out that's for sure, but as long as the owner likes it that's all that matters,

if it was me it would have been in blue being an evertonian lol

Whatever floats your boat I suppose, like you say as long as he likes it that's the main thing, can't say I'm particularly fond of it to be honest. May of looked better on a black synthetic Airwolf with all its fancy electronics you could nickname it 'KIT' from Knightrider! Edited by Ttfjlc

Bob.

I would Love a BSA myself but ... Why Oh why do they not incorporate a anti double loading mechanism in their rifles?

not got a clue mate. its a shame really as they are a cracking little rifle once they have been sorted, certainly shoot well and by the chrono readings very very consistent that's for sure, I had the BSA r10mk2 and was a cracking rifle but it was .22 and no good for what I needed so got shut and bought the wolverine b,

still not found anything to beat my airwolf yet but it took me around 18 bloody months of trying different pellets and its superb to 60yrds now

by the way has puddington changed to the sundays yet and if so what time ?

Bob.

Puddington switches to Sundays on the 4 September. That's one day I will have to miss as there is a pairs comp at Ince.
