Seriously considering returning to a over and under for fowling so have been looking at various options and now that Browning no longer make the 425 waterfowl and the cynergy isn't imported as standard I'm leaning towards the Fabarm. Has anyone any experience of one. Wondering how the tighter HP chokes are coping with larger steel shot.

got the standard 3.5 inch fabarm multichoke 28 inch barrells o/u...not the camo one...personally i like it, steel shot proofed as to be expected, used mammoth and winchester 3.5 shells through it and its' good on the geese, the minor negative for me is the palm swell on the grip...would prefer it to be thinner as per a normal o/u....atb....misser

Have a good read before buying a Cynergy, they have wear issues with the way they are jointed. Any sand or grit you can get in them wildfowling will wear it even quicker. I've had two 3" chambered Cynergies in the past.

The Lincoln wildfowler gets good reviews as does the Yildiz.

I have a 34" barrelled Bettinsoli xtrail wildfowler. I like it and I have killed several ducks and geese with it already this season. I think it is decent value for money.

I bought full and extra full Brileys for steel shot in all sizes. They appear to pattern very well.

I wasn't aware Yildiz made a 3 1/2" o/u.

34inch is that a typo motty? I have the bettinsoli and it's a good gun for the money. I have used it on both duck and geese and it does the job it was made for

Motty your correct Yildiz dont make a 31/2" over and under its a sxs with single trigger pistol grip stock and multichokes. Bit of a crossover gun between the usual straight double trigger SXS & Pistol grip single trigger Over & Under.

The Lincoln Wildfowler is a decent gun a friend shoots the Revo K200 31/2" duck blind camo, short for me but he loves it.

Has any one had a go with the RA Sport Wildfowler that is advertised on guntrader?

A little more than the Bettinsoli and Lincoln but is it any better?

Going to have to get a new 12 for fowling during the off season and have been getting on well with a 20 o/u for clays so considering one in 12 as well
