Axe
I recently aquired a new Casio Exilim EX-S880 card camera and have been playing around with it for the last couple of weeks. Its spured me on to have a go at this photography thingamijig. Most of my shots have been of the brilliant sunsets we'vebeen getting lately. Anyway, anxcious to find my artistic creativity with the camera, I trundled down to the beach again to take a few more pics. See what ya think! Oh and no seagulls were harmed in the taking of these pics, just airbrushed out
Pedro
Very nice Axe, I think the top one's the best as it shows all the pier and not too much sun P.

Axe
Very nice Axe, I think the top one's the best as it shows all the pier and not too much sun P. Thanks Pedro, it would have been nice to get a wider angle shot to get the entire pier in the shot. Certainly would have given more perspective to the shot. But the camera is limited as much as it is a pocket camera and with the suns position its not possible to get the pier in one shot without loosing it in the background so to speak. My favourite of the pics is number 3. Thanks for the concerns lads but I was ok as I stayed clear of dark areas and alley ways.

Oly
Thought it was Baywatch for a moment there...until I saw the Brighton sign...and someone in a bobble hat!
Axe
Stuart, i'll let you choose next months theme, i'll pop the £20 round later. Seriously though, the Exilim has been really good. It does have its limitations but then its not designed to be used like an SLR would be. Thus far it has prodced some great quality shots and with a 2gb card it can store over 400 pictures at 3264x2448 8mp set to fine. So theres plenty of room to take extra shos just in case. WeihrauchPower
Great pics! Number three is my favourite also. Are you going to start selling postcards!
Dunkield
The video in these modern Digi camera's is very good as well even if it uses masses of memory. I want a new camera but when you are used to getting it all for nothing it hurts to spend the money I have only just recovered from buying my first non company mobile phone earlier this year
Axe
Great pics! Number three is my favourite also. Are you going to start selling postcards! No, its too cold!!! Stuart, the EX-s880 has been designed with video in mind and has a youtube captur mode. Makes it very easy to record and upload direct to youtube. Again it performs well in this area.
