Lloyd90
Hopefully someone more sensible will give them a good home I hope I find some nice Spaniels or Labs. It would sure beat the 300-500 price tag alot of dogs are carrying these days Dont see why anyone should ever dump animals like this though Take them to a pound ? Yes there alot of work and theres bound to be people who make a mistake, everyone makes them but abandoning them ? pure criminal!

Markio
Was thinking about this yesterday and wondering if it still went on, assuming people were more educated in what it took to own a dog etc, i really do struggle with the fact that people can still be so thick to think buying a puppy on a whim as an xmas present is is good idea. Amazing.
POW!
I was angry when I first posted , , A bit calmer now , Its not the first time its happened , but its usualy a couple of week s later , The worst case was when the pit bull scare was on after a kid was mauled , A pitty bitch was tied to a gate in a field close by , been there at least a day , again it was down to local; authority to rescue and house in a kennels , I dont even know what type of pups they were , as the guy was ready to drive off , but, he did say it was the fourth job today in rescuing pups . The slogan springs to ming now " A dog is for life ,not just christmas" , Its just a sticker in a car window to most , , Dont suppose they will tell the kids in the morning!!! , Why buy them its bound to hurt the kids just as much as the pups , I despair at times, shooters are labeled cruel , , probably by folk such as these . tiercel
If the pups were a month old they would not have been weaned yet, so they could not have been bought as xmas presents.
POW!
Tiercel , Sorry I did not see them close up they seemed small though , You may well be right , I was pretty angry at what had been done , Its happened before at this time , Perhaps I was wrong to assume they were a Xmas present , However Dumping pups like that , I was not thinking of the finer points , And was not wanting to be alarmist , Now a couple of hours later a little more calm , I see your point , Thanks POW! { Still not right though isit??}

I really cannot comprehend anyone that would do that to a dog. I really can't.
seisobs
Miserable Bravo Alfa Sierra Tango Alfa Romeo Delta Sierra. I know what I'd do to them if they were caught doing it.
lurcherboy
If the pups were a month old they would not have been weaned yet, so they could not have been bought as xmas presents. Not many years ago you would drown what wasn't needed as that was the quickest and simplest way to sort out an excess of puppies. Anyone who leaves them to die in a rubbish bag is a **** Don't let incidences like this sway you into giving money to the arspca. LB
POW!
A bit more info .. I saw the Jogger who runs this lane this evening and asked if it was him who found them . He said he had . and they were different breeds of dogs , thats why they thought Xmas gifts , they had small collars on too , he rang his sister who rang rspca , it was coincidence the police were passing, so they left it to those there , I walked up this morning to see if any adress may be found but no , just thrown from a passing car it apeared , Not sure where they were taken , but rescued at least , We had a realy heavy frost last night , so glad they were not out all night , POW!
